The purpose of the Baby Connectome Project (BCP) is to comprehensively and systematically collect MR imaging data and behavioral assessments in healthy children between the ages of 0 and 5 years old.

This project is an extension of the NIH’s Lifespan Human Connectome Project (HCP), an effort to map the neural pathways that underlie human brain function. The BCP will provide an unprecedented view of how a healthy human brain develops and works.
